Philosophers, medical specialists, religious leaders, spiritual guides, and perhaps all of mankind, have looked to find answers to the questions of how our behavior is generated. From Hippocrates and his work with the "humours," Darwin's studies of evolution, to the latest medical and technical advances of our time, one thing is certain: we just do not know all there is to know about the brain and our basic biology. Through the lens of analyzing the field of psychology in a biological sense, we will attempt to answer some of the basic questions that face us.
